What is Straga?
Straga is a free web app that creates an image of a running or cycling workout: you draw the route on a map, set distance, pace and time, and download a Strava-style image to post on Instagram Stories — just for fun. It is not affiliated with Strava and doesn't upload anything to Strava.
Frequently asked questions
Is Straga free?
Yes. Creating and downloading the image is free and needs no sign-up. A few PRO themes and effects are paid.
Is Straga affiliated with Strava?
No. Straga is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Strava. It only creates a Strava-style image.
Can I upload the workout to Strava or Garmin?
No. Straga only creates an image to share on social media. It doesn't export GPX or send anything to fitness apps.
Do I need an account?
No. Just draw the route or type the distance and download the image.
Does it work for cycling?
Yes. Choose Bike and the image shows speed instead of pace.
Are famous races available?
Yes. Marathons like New York, Berlin and Boston, São Silvestre and other races come with the route and official distance ready.
Does Straga store my route?
No. The route and the image are generated in your browser and aren't saved on our servers.
